OL/DL Hog Academy
The Hog Academy OL/DL Camp is a 3-day intensive training experience designed for 4th–8th graders looking to dominate the trenches. Led by experienced HS football staff, this camp focuses on position-specific drills, footwork, leverage, and trench IQ to develop strong, technically sound linemen.
4th-6th grade athletes will focus on foundational skills, while 7th-8th graders will receive advanced instruction tailored to their level. This camp is the perfect opportunity to refine technique, improve strength and agility, and gain a competitive edge on the line of scrimmage. Come ready to work. Leave ready to dominate. Camp Dates: July 28–30 from 5:30-7:00 PM at Richland Center High School. $25 per athlete (special scholarships available for families facing financial hardship).

The Hog Academy OL/DL Camp is a three-day skills camp focused on developing the core fundamentals of offensive and defensive line play. Athletes will work on footwork, hand placement, leverage, explosiveness, and overall trench IQ to improve their dominance at the line of scrimmage. Through hands-on instruction from experienced HS football staff, participants will refine key techniques essential to excelling in the trenches.

The camp will cover:

Footwork & Agility – Stance work, ladder drills, and cone drills to improve quickness, balance, and reaction time.

Hand Placement & Strike Technique – Proper punch mechanics, hand fighting, and leverage to gain control.

Explosiveness & Power – First-step quickness, hip explosion, and sled work to maximize strength off the snap.

Run Blocking & Pass Protection – Zone and gap blocking, kick slides, mirroring defenders, and anchoring against bull rushes.

Defensive Line Techniques – Shedding blocks, hand combat, gap control, and pass-rush moves.

Toughness & Finish – Developing a relentless motor, playing through the whistle, and outworking opponents.
